This old library book is from a "Movie Monsters" series by Crestwood House in Minnesota, a company which had been inspiring Gen Xers to love monsters for years. In the mid-eighties, the company decided to release a series of kids' books based on 15+ old horror movie screenplays.. What's interesting is they didn't go for the obvious - only releasing Frankenstein, Mummy and Dracula titles. Instead, they went with stuff like Black Friday, Werewolf of London and Dracula's Daughter. Pretty cool, really.
This particular one is based on the 1955 film of the same name. The print is large and it isn't long; so, you should be able to have this read in a matter of a few fun filled minutes. Enjoy!
